The St. Anthony DiPadova Society will be sponsoring their 87^th Annual Feast Day Celebration in addition to a Special Memorial Mass Celebration to honor their patron on Sunday, June 7, 2009 and on Saturday, June 13, 2009.

 

The entire community is invited to participate in these two very special events. 

 

The 87^th Annual Feast Day Celebration will be held at St Barnabas Church, 63^rd & Buist Ave., Southwest Philadelphia where a solemn Mass will be held on Sunday, June 7th at 10:00 AM. Festivities will continue after Mass in the St. Barnabas Schoolyard with traditional Italian music and entertainment, various authentic Italian food and specialties, a Porchetta Roast and other activities.

 

The Special Memorial Mass Celebration will be held at Holy Cross Church, Springfield Road and Bishop Road in Springfield, Delaware County on Saturday, June 13, 2009. A Solemn Mass in Honor of St. Anthony will be held at 6:00 PM. Festivities will follow on the Holy Cross School Grounds where the Holy Cross Annual Carnival, Entertainment, a Porchetta Roast, Food, Rides, Etc. will be held.  

 

The entire community is invited to come out and help celebrate these two special events which honor our Patron and which have been part of the Society’s history for the past 87 years.
